The Taichung City Traffic Adjudication Office was founded on January 1, 2013 and officially took over traffic violation adjudication services on January 2, 2013. Traffic violations of cars, motorcycles and drivers under the office's adjudication include Articles 12 through to 68 as well as Items 7 and 8 of Article 92 of the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act within the Taichung Area (currently 29 administrative districts).
