To combat driving under drug or alcohol influence and to give the public a safe driving environment, the Taichung City Traffic Adjudication Office has teamed up with the Taichung Branch, Administrative Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Justice to demand for the overdue payments of traffic fines under drug or alcohol influence committed between April 15th and April 24th, 2019. Incorporating with the 52 tasks of on-site investigations and confiscation of real estate of the violators, the Office called for 102 overdue payments. By May 10th, 2019, 37 pieces of real estate were confiscated in the total amount of NT$4.79 million, presenting significant results.
