To respond to the amendment of Article 9 of the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act, from March 31, 2014, the payment period for traffic fines were expanded from the original 15 days to 30 days. Thus, traffic fines due after March 31st, 2014, are given an additional extension of 15 days. Violators are given a longer grievance period to pay for traffic fines.
