To facilitate the payment of traffic fines with more options, the Taichung City Traffic Adjudication Office has introduced postal payment and mobile payment services previously. Apart from LINE Pay Money, Bee Pay, Yuanta Commercial Bank, GAMAPAY, JKOPAY and Shopee, the new mobile payment option Bank SinoPac APP (DACARD) has been available since February 22, 2022. By entering requisite data in the mobile APP and paying the transaction fee of NTD13, the traffic violators are now able to pay the fines using the mobile phone app.
With the mobile payment option, traffic violators no longer need a paper ticket to pay for the fines or worry about misplacing the ticket. Besides, there is no need for them to go out to withdraw cash or pay the fines. In the future, the Office will continue to introduce more mobile payment service providers for more convenient payment of traffic fines.
