Taichung City Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention Center

Citizens who register households in Taichung City or foreigners, mainlanders, Hong Kong and Macau residents living in Taichung City, who are victims of domestic violence under the Domestic Violence Prevention Act, and who have been assessed by senior social workers (social workers) as having subsidy needs, can apply for subsidies according to Regulations on Subsidies for Victims of Domestic Violence.

The subsidy items include emergency living aids, medical expenses and physical/mental treatment that are not covered by the National Health Insurance, consultation and counseling expenses, litigation costs and attorney’s fees, housing rent expenses, living expenses for children, airfare expenses and other necessary expenses recognized by assessment.
