The Taichung City 158PLUS Spatial Information Network has won the Outstanding Application Award at the“2023 Cloud IoT Innovation Award.” Chun-Jin Wu, Director of Taichung City Government's Land Administration Bureau, presented the trophy at today's (20th) municipal meeting, demonstrating the city government's application of cloud IoT service architecture and technology. The platform integrates cross-departmental information into a spatial information network, providing citizens with easy access to comprehensive and detailed real estate information, meeting the needs of citizens looking to establish homes and fulfill property ownership dreams. The public has widely appreciated the platform and is recognized by the judges.

Director Wu noted that “providing citizens with a happy home” is the Taichung City Government's philosophy in promoting housing justice and its commitment to citizens. To this end, the Land Administration Bureau has applied information technology to integrate public data from 25 government agencies, developing 37 land administration query services and 38 cross-domain system query services. The 158PLUS Spatial Information Network offers one-click access to land and housing information, actual transaction prices, and surrounding conditions, striving to provide citizens and civil servants with real-time, complete, and detailed real estate reference information. The platform has exceeded 17.5 million users, helping citizens realize their dreams of home ownership and prosperity while experiencing the most “localized” practical services.

Director Wu noted that winning the “Outstanding Application Award” in the “2023 Cloud IoT Innovation Award” competition, hosted by the Cloud Computing & IoT Association in Taiwan, is not only a significant recognition of the city government's emphasis on information technology application and transformation into a smart city but also symbolizes Taichung City's efforts in promoting housing justice through IoT and cloud big data analysis technologies.
