Taichung Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention Center

The Taichung City Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention Center has a total of 234 staff. 212 of them are governed by the Social Affairs Bureau and the remaining 22 are assigned to the education, police, and health departments.
In terms of organizational framework, the center has set up the posts of director, deputy director, and supervisor. The center consists of a Notification and Investigation Unit, an Adult Protection Unit, a Sexual Assault Prevention Unit, a Child Protection Unit, an Administrative Planning Unit, an Educational Consultation Unit, a Medical Assistance Unit, and a Violence Prevention Unit.
Taichung City Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention Center is a highly integrated and cross-professional administrative agency. The Center integrates not only Social Affairs Bureau's services, but also education services, medical assistance, and crime and violence prevention by the police and judiciary. Through cross-network cooperation, we can protect the rights of victims, provide emergency relief and follow-up psychological counseling.

The Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention Center has established a family-centered safety network. It mainly aims to strengthen the integration of services and the effectiveness of its work by providing multiple channels for victims to seek help, emergency assistance, counseling and medical treatment, prevention advocacy, and training of professional staff.
